MBUK Issue Nov 06 : - The the open, supringlengly smooth square block, spkied tread of this tyre doesn't look much, but it bites tenaciously in a straight line or when leant over in every sort of mud we've ever come across. Unlike most spiked tyres, it eventually just slides rather than snaps out fatally, so you can push it race hard. the mediuim/soft-compound dual gumbi tread is sure-footed on greasyroots and rocks, has no nasty habits on tarmac, rolls relativley fast and provides quick acceleration. The tyre cleans fast and is tubeless ready for surviving low pressures despite the narrow carcass and it's our favourite filthy/fast ride tyre. It has a relativley short life because of the wearable compounds but this is offset by the cheap price. MBUK Guide : Grip 10/10 Versatility 9/10 Performance 9/10 Value 10/10.
