Stoke ACCS (Athletic Club Cycling Section), was founded by Roy Swinnerton in ****, Roy him self a former Grass Track National Champion and Commonwealth & Olympic team coach compiled a sociable yet active club that particularly through the 70' & 80's was probably one of the UK's most successful cycling clubs producing cyclist's to both World, Commonwealth & Olympic Levels.

Over the past 10 years Stoke ACCS, has been relatively inactive but in 2006 was resurrected by Paul Swinnerton (Roy's Son) and him self a former National Champion & Commonwealth Games Cyclist. The Club now runs from 2 bases the shop Swinnerton Cycles which regularly features a Wednesday night ride leaving the shop at approx 6.p.m. and also from Swinfit Fitness Centre in Cheadle, Staffs, runs from Cheadle go out most Sunday mornings leaving the centre at Approx 10.a.m.
