How can I find my 'affiliate ID'?

If you need to confirm your affiliate ID, take the following steps:

• Make sure you are logged into the Swinnerton Cycles site.
• Click on 'Your Account' heading menu.
• Click on 'Edit Affiliate Profile' in the left hand menu.

Your affiliate ID is clearly shown on the 3rd line of the affilate profile page.

How to implement your affiliate link on your web pages or discussion postings

In order for our system to recognise potential customers you send to our site, you need to use a special version of our address whenever you link to us. This link contains your affilate ID and will ensure that any purchases made by a customer following a link from your site will be credited to your affilaite account.

To link to the homepage of the Swinnerton Cycles site, use the following HTML, substituting the affiliate ID (affid) for your own ID:

Category Page

If you would like to link to a specific category on our site then find the ID of the category by visiting it on our site and making a note of the URL. You can then use following URL string, being sure to substitute both the correct category ID and your own affiliate ID (affid):

Product Page

If you want to link directly to a product on our site, use the following URL string remembering to modify the product ID to match the product you would like to link to and substitute the affiliate ID with your own:

The URLs for these two pages are used by the 'Site Search' Flash banner ad (see below) to allow users to search the Swinnerton Cycles site from your site.
