Introducing the new, expanded Slash lineup

Slash is back with new price points, new colour choices, and a new alloy frame option
We developed Slash specifically for enduro racing with fast-rolling 29” wheels, 150mm/160mm of travel, and a carbon frame. It’s not just for racing the clock, though. Everything that makes Slash great for enduro racing also makes it a fast and fun everyday trail bike too. The world’s biggest mountain bike website Pinkbike agreed, naming it their Bike of the Year.
That’s why we’ve expanded the Slash lineup, giving more riders more choices. To bring the starting price point down, we’ve added a Slash 8 with an Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame. It has all the same features that give carbon Slash its unbeatable ride, like ABP, Straight Shot downtube, and even Trek’s unique RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft shock.
On the other end of the lineup, we’re re-introducing the full-carbon Slash 9.9 with a SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain that significantly drops the price. With carbon wheels, a RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft shock, and Fox Factory fork, your customers get even more performance for their money with Slash 9.9.
We’re also giving riders more colour choices. Every Slash model is now available in two colourways. The stock paint jobs offer more subtle style while a shared alternate colourway turns heads with a bright, bold scheme.
All of these changes address the most common retailer and consumer requests – lower entry price, a smarter high-end offering, and more color choices. Now you’ve got the right bike for your customer, whether it’s a weekend trail rider looking for speed at a value, or a racer looking for a new whip at a popular high-end price point.
