Why buy a sale bike from Swinnerton Cycles?

We have been fixing, fitting and selling bikes in Stoke-on-Trent since 1915. We are still a family run shop. When you buy a sale bike from us, you still get the same expert advice as you would on a full price bike. A lower price should never mean a worse buying experience.

Our workshop team services and repairs bikes every day. That means we can look after your bike long after you take it home.

How to choose the right sale bike

A bargain is only a bargain if the bike suits how you ride. Here is a simple guide:

• Riding to work or around town? A hybrid or electric bike is usually the best choice.
• Long rides on the road? Look at endurance road bikes.
• Mixing roads with tracks and trails? A gravel bike gives you more freedom.
• Riding off road? Choose a mountain bike with the right suspension for your trails.

The most common mistake we see is buying the wrong frame size just because the price is good. A bike that does not fit can feel uncomfortable and may lead to aches and pains. If you are not sure of your size, speak to us or book a bike fit before you buy.

Spread the cost or save through work

Many of our bikes can be paid for with finance, so you can split the cost into monthly payments. If your employer offers Cycle to Work, ask us whether your chosen sale bike can be bought through the scheme.
