In 1975, Jim Blackburn looked at the emerging cycling culture and knew that he could make a difference. Out there, other products, if they existed all, were heavy and awkward. Jim Blackburn brought industrial design to cycling. That meant solving problems differently. Thinking from the user’s perspective, showing respect for materials and their functionality, and bringing an unprecedented innovation. Blackburn set a new standard for the industry.
