Shimano CUES

Shimano CUES is Shimano's newest unified drivetrain platform, launched in 2023 to replace and consolidate the Altus, Acera, Alivio, and Deore entry-to-mid-range groupset lines into a single, cross-compatible ecosystem. Designed around Shimano's LINKGLIDE technology for longer-lasting, smoother shifting under load, CUES components are engineered for everyday cycling, commuting, trekking, and e-bike applications where durability and ease of use are paramount. At Swinnerton Cycles, we stock Shimano CUES components for cyclists looking for modern, reliable drivetrain solutions for hybrid, trekking, and e-bike platforms.

The CUES range features 9, 10, and 11-speed compatibility across a unified component ecosystem, with chainsets available in both HollowTech II and square taper configurations to suit different bottom bracket standards. The RD-U4020 rear derailleur is e-bike compatible, making CUES a versatile choice for both conventional and electric-assist bikes.
