How does a magnetless cadence sensor work?
Traditional cadence sensors use a magnet on the crank arm and a sensor on the chainstay that detects each magnet pass. Magnetless sensors use an accelerometer inside the sensor unit to detect the rotation of the crank arm directly, without needing a separate magnet.
