The Bryton Smart Heart Rate Monitor Replacement Strap is the spare elastic chest strap for the Bryton Smart Heart Rate Monitor — the soft, adjustable strap that holds the sensor module against the chest during activity. Chest straps wear out over time with regular washing and use, and replacing the strap is a straightforward way to extend the life of your HRM sensor module without replacing the entire unit. The strap is washable and adjustable to fit a range of chest sizes, with the sensor module clipping on and off for easy removal before washing.
The strap is designed specifically for the Bryton Smart Heart Rate Monitor sensor module. To wash: unclip the sensor module from the strap, hand-wash the strap with mild soap and water, and allow to air dry before reattaching the module. Regular washing of the strap — ideally after every few uses — maintains electrode contact quality and ensures accurate heart rate readings. Worn or degraded straps can cause poor electrode contact, leading to erratic or inaccurate heart rate data, so replacing the strap when it shows signs of wear is good practice for maintaining HRM accuracy.

How do I know when to replace the strap?
Replace the strap when it shows visible signs of wear such as loss of elasticity, fraying, or degradation of the electrode pads (the conductive areas that contact the skin). Poor electrode contact causes erratic or inaccurate heart rate readings — if your HRM is giving unreliable data despite being properly moistened and positioned, a worn strap is often the cause.
How do I wash the strap correctly?
Unclip the sensor module from the strap before washing. Hand-wash the strap with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before reattaching the sensor module. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or use harsh detergents. Washing after every few uses maintains electrode conductivity and hygiene.
Is this strap compatible with other Bryton HRM models?
This strap is designed for the Bryton Smart Heart Rate Monitor. Compatibility with other Bryton HRM models depends on the connector type — if you're unsure, contact us before purchasing and we can confirm compatibility.
Do I need to wet the strap before use?
Yes — for best accuracy, lightly moisten the electrode areas of the strap (the conductive pads that contact the skin) with water or electrode gel before putting it on. This improves electrical conductivity between the strap and skin, resulting in more accurate and stable heart rate readings, particularly at the start of a session before sweat builds up.

(Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
