Drawing from extensive cyclocross experience, Challenge has enhanced the GRAVINE's tread with taller lugs for exceptional grip in mud and on rocky surfaces. Built using Challenge’s renowned Handmade Tubeless Ready (H-TLR) construction, the GRAVINE sets new standards in comfort, handling, and ride quality. This handmade technology, combined with innovative rubber compounds, minimizes rolling resistance and maximizes performance. Available in both the standard GRAVINE and the more robust GRAVINE XP versions, in 40mm and 45mm widths, this tyre line guarantees outstanding performance and reliability, regardless of the terrain or conditions.
The SMARTplus compound used in the GRAVINE features a gravel-specific higher durometer natural rubber that enhances durability without sacrificing grip or shock absorption. This ensures a smooth, controlled ride with reduced rolling resistance. Both the GRAVINE and GRAVINE XP include the advanced GANZO PPS puncture protection system—a tightly woven multi-component fabric layer that guards against punctures. The GRAVINE XP further elevates protection with the exclusive Corazza Armour Gold layer, a bead-to-bead reinforcement that boosts robustness and puncture resistance, making it ideal for endurance rides and the harshest gravel conditions.
Can the GRAVINE tyre be used on regular road surfaces?
While the GRAVINE is designed primarily for rugged gravel and off-road terrains, its fast-rolling centerline allows it to perform efficiently on smoother surfaces as well. However, for dedicated road cycling, tyres with less aggressive tread may be more suitable.
What is the difference between the GRAVINE and GRAVINE XP models?
The GRAVINE XP includes additional puncture protection with the exclusive Corazza Armour Gold layer, enhancing robustness and making it better suited for endurance rides and more demanding terrains. The standard GRAVINE offers excellent performance but with slightly less reinforcement.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
