The COROS POD 2 is a 5.6g foot-worn running sensor that pairs with compatible COROS watches to deliver more accurate pace data, precise treadmill tracking, and advanced running form metrics that GPS alone cannot provide. It's the accessory for runners who want more from their training data — particularly those who do interval sessions (where GPS lag makes instant pace unreliable), treadmill running (where GPS doesn't work at all), or run in urban environments where tall buildings degrade GPS signal quality.
By measuring movement directly at the foot, the POD 2 delivers instant, lag-free pace updates that are significantly more responsive than GPS-derived pace — critical for interval training where you need to know your pace right now, not three seconds ago. On the treadmill, it automatically calibrates to your stride and transmits accurate pace and distance data to your watch, replacing the treadmill's own (often inaccurate) speed readout. The proprietary Effort Pace metric adjusts your pace reading based on gradient, giving you a true measure of effort on hills rather than just speed. Advanced running form metrics include Ground Time, Left/Right Balance, Stride Height, Stride Ratio, and Ambient Temperature, giving you the data to identify inefficiencies and improve technique over time. The Running Form Test provides a structured assessment of your form with actionable guidance.
The POD 2 is weatherproof to 3 ATM and operates in temperatures from -10°C to 60°C. Battery life is up to 25 hours of continuous running, with the included portable charging dock providing up to 5 additional full charges — enough for a full week of training without access to a wall charger. It can be worn on the shoe (using the included shoe clips) or on the waistband (using the included silicone clip). Which COROS watches is the POD 2 compatible with?
The COROS POD 2 is compatible with COROS watches that support the POD 2 sensor, including the PACE series and APEX series. Check the COROS compatibility list for your specific watch model. It is not compatible with watches from other brands.
How does it improve treadmill accuracy?
The POD 2 measures your actual foot movement rather than relying on the treadmill's belt speed, which is often inaccurate. It automatically calibrates to your stride pattern and transmits precise pace and distance data directly to your COROS watch, giving you accurate training data regardless of the treadmill's own readout.
What is Effort Pace and how is it useful?
Effort Pace is a COROS proprietary metric that adjusts your displayed pace based on the gradient you're running on. Running uphill at 5:30/km requires significantly more effort than running on the flat at the same pace — Effort Pace normalises this, showing you the equivalent flat-ground pace for your current effort level. This makes it much easier to run to consistent effort on hilly routes without constantly adjusting your target pace.
How long does the battery last and how does the charging dock work?
The POD 2 provides up to 25 hours of continuous running on a single charge. The included portable charging dock holds enough charge to fully recharge the POD 2 up to 5 times, giving you a total of up to 125 hours of running time before you need to recharge the dock itself from a wall charger. This makes it practical for multi-day training camps or travel without reliable power access.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
