This kit transforms your existing DT Swiss hubs into the highly acclaimed Ratchet freehub system, renowned for its superior reliability and smooth engagement. Crafted for MTB enthusiasts, it features an 18-tooth SRAM XD Hybrid Steel ratchet that enhances durability and power transfer efficiency on every ride.
The Ratchet LN system replaces the traditional pawl mechanism, which often concentrates stress on small contact points, with a robust, evenly distributed engagement surface. This design reduces wear and tear, providing a longer-lasting and more dependable hub. Additionally, the modular nature of the Ratchet system allows you to customize your engagement angle by swapping the 18-tooth ratchets for 36 or 54 tooth variants, available separately, offering flexibility to suit your riding style.
Maintaining your hub is effortless thanks to the tool-free servicing concept, enabling quick adjustments even during rides. However, installation requires specialized tools (HBDT835 and HBDT5266) and is best performed by a qualified mechanic to ensure optimal performance. Note that this LN system is compatible exclusively with 370 hubs, such as those on DT’s 1900 series wheels, and is not interchangeable with standard Ratchet or Ratchet EXP hubs.
Can I install this conversion kit myself?
Installation requires specific tools (HBDT835 and HBDT5266) and mechanical knowledge; DT Swiss recommends having a qualified mechanic perform the upgrade.
Will this fit my DT Swiss wheels?
This kit is compatible only with DT Swiss 370 hubs, such as those on the 1900 series complete wheels, and not with standard Ratchet or Ratchet EXP hubs.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
