Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply chain lube correctly?
Start with a clean, dry chain. Apply the lube to the inner side of the chain (the rollers) while slowly backpedalling, working around the full length of the chain. Allow it to penetrate for a few minutes, then wipe away any excess with a clean cloth before riding. Excess lube on the outside of the chain attracts dirt and accelerates wear — wiping away the excess is the key step most riders skip.
How often should I apply it?
Reapply after every wet ride, after washing the bike, or every 100–150 miles in dry conditions. If the chain sounds dry or squeaky, it needs lubing. The formula's longevity means you won't need to reapply as frequently as with lighter lubes, but regular application after cleaning gives the best results.
Is it suitable for all chain types and speeds?
Yes — Fenwick's All Conditions Chain Lube is suitable for all chain-driven drivetrains including road, gravel, MTB, and commuter bikes, across all speeds and chain widths from 6-speed through to 13-speed.

- Your order, after any discounts, must be £50.00 or over. For all other orders, including those under £50.00 there is a maximum postage charge of £5.99
In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
