The FSA Gossamer Pro Chainset is a high-performance road crankset built for riders who demand precision, reliability, and a weight-conscious design without compromising stiffness. Featuring a compact 50/34T chainring configuration and a robust 30mm axle, this crankset delivers efficient power transfer whether you're grinding up long climbs or pushing hard on flat roads.
Constructed from forged alloy, the Gossamer Pro sits firmly in FSA's performance-oriented Gossamer family — a range trusted by road cyclists worldwide for its blend of durability and ride quality. Available in multiple crank arm lengths to suit a wide range of rider geometries, it's a versatile upgrade for any road build. Pair it with a compatible FSA bottom bracket for a seamless, fully matched drivetrain.
Whether you're building up a new road bike or upgrading an existing drivetrain, the Gossamer Pro Chainset offers excellent value within the FSA Gossamer range. Compatible with Shimano and FSA 2x drivetrains, it integrates cleanly into most modern road groupsets. Explore the full FSA Gossamer Pro MegaExo variant or the Gossamer 386Evo V23 if your frame requires a different bottom bracket standard.
What bottom bracket do I need for the FSA Gossamer Pro 30mm Axle Chainset?
You'll need a bottom bracket compatible with a 30mm axle diameter. FSA offer several options depending on your frame's shell standard — including T47 68mm, T47 85.5mm, and T47 76.75mm variants. Check your frame's bottom bracket shell type before ordering.
Is the FSA Gossamer Pro compatible with Shimano groupsets?
Yes — the Gossamer Pro Chainset is compatible with Shimano 2x road drivetrains. It uses a standard 4-bolt 110mm BCD spider, making it suitable for use with most Shimano-compatible front derailleurs and chains.
Can I replace just the chainrings on the Gossamer Pro?
Yes. FSA offer replacement chainrings and chainring bolt kits for the Gossamer Pro, making it easy to swap rings if they wear out without replacing the entire crankset.
Which crank arm length should I choose?
Crank arm length is typically determined by your inseam length and riding style. Most road cyclists use lengths between 170mm and 175mm. If you're unsure, a bike fit session is the best way to determine the ideal length for your anatomy and goals.
