The Garmin Rally RS210 is the dual-sensing upgrade to the Rally RS110, measuring power independently from both left and right pedals for true left/right power balance data alongside all the core Rally features. It uses Shimano SPD-SL cleats and delivers ±1% power accuracy — the same precision as the RS110, but with the added depth of independent per-leg measurement that serious training and bike fitting demands.
In addition to total power and cadence, the RS210 provides a comprehensive set of cycling dynamics: left/right leg balance, seated vs. standing time, power phase (where in the pedal stroke you're producing power), and peak power phase data. This level of detail is particularly valuable for identifying imbalances, tracking fatigue patterns, and working with a coach or bike fitter to optimise your position and technique. The reimagined strain gauge with integrated gyroscope ensures accurate, responsive data across the full pedal stroke.
Like all Rally pedals, the RS210 features a transferable sensor design: the power meter pods can be moved between compatible Rally 110 or 210 pedal bodies, so you can run the same sensors across multiple bikes. The rechargeable battery delivers up to 90 hours of ride time, with a 15-minute quick charge providing up to 12 hours. Pedal IQ™ smart calibration alerts you when recalibration is needed based on conditions such as temperature changes. When paired with a compatible Garmin Edge computer — such as the Edge 540, Edge 840, Edge 850, Edge 1040, or Edge 1050 — all power and dynamics data are displayed in real time. Browse the full Garmin range or our power meters collection.
If you use Look KEO cleats, the equivalent dual-sensing model is the Rally RK210. If you're deciding between the RS210 and the RS110, the RS210 is the better choice if independent left/right power balance and cycling dynamics are important to your training — the RS110 is the more cost-effective option if total power and cadence are sufficient.
What is the difference between the RS210 and the RS110?
The RS110 is single-sensing — it measures left leg power and doubles it to estimate total power. The RS210 is dual-sensing — it measures each pedal independently, providing true left/right power balance and full cycling dynamics data including power phase and seated/standing time. Both deliver ±1% accuracy. Choose the RS210 if left/right balance and dynamics are important to your training; choose the RS110 if total power and cadence are sufficient.
What cycling dynamics does the RS210 provide?
The RS210 provides left/right leg power balance, seated vs. standing time, power phase (the portion of the pedal stroke where you're producing power), and peak power phase data. This information is particularly useful for identifying leg imbalances, working with a coach, or optimising your position with a bike fitter.
Can I transfer the sensors between bikes?
Yes — the Rally RS210 sensor pods are removable and can be transferred between compatible Rally 110 or 210 pedal bodies, allowing you to use the same power meter on multiple bikes by purchasing additional pedal bodies separately.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The rechargeable battery provides up to 90 hours of ride time. A 15-minute quick charge delivers up to 12 hours of riding, and a full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The Pedal IQ™ system monitors battery level and alerts you when it's running low.
