The Giant Revolt Advanced 2 Gravel Bike exemplifies a high standard of engineering designed to meet the rigorous demands of gravel cycling. Featuring an Advanced-grade composite frame and fork, this bicycle balances lightweight construction with exceptional durability, ensuring a reliable and responsive ride across diverse terrains. Its design reflects a commitment to quality and performance, making it a preferred choice for cyclists seeking versatility and endurance.
A hallmark of this model is its innovative two-position flip chip on the rear dropout, allowing precise adjustment of the wheelbase. This feature enables riders to customize the bike’s handling characteristics, choosing between a more agile response or enhanced stability. The frame accommodates tire widths up to 53mm, providing the flexibility to adapt to various trail conditions and rider preferences. Such adaptability underscores the bike’s suitability for a wide range of gravel and mixed-surface adventures.
Rider comfort and control are central to the Revolt Advanced 2’s design philosophy. The dropped seatstays combined with small-diameter tubing offer tuned compliance, effectively mitigating shocks and vibrations commonly encountered on rough gravel paths. Complementing this is the Contact SL XR D-Fuse alloy handlebar paired with a carbon D-Fuse seatpost, both engineered to reduce fatigue during extended rides. The frame’s compatibility with either the included D-Fuse seatpost or alternative options such as traditional or dropper posts further enhances customization to individual ergonomic needs.
Attention to practical details is evident in the integrated cable routing and storage solutions. Internally routed cables contribute to a clean, aerodynamic cockpit, while a discreet storage compartment within the top tube provides secure space for essential tools and accessories. Integrated mounts on the top tube, fork, and rear dropout offer versatile options for attaching packs, fenders, or other accessories, supporting a broad spectrum of configurations. Protective molded guards on the chainstay and down tube enhance durability by shielding the frame from impacts and reducing noise, reinforcing the bike’s robust construction and thoughtful design.
Can I use a dropper post on this bike?
Yes, the frame supports a traditional 30.9mm round seatpost as well as a dropper post, providing flexibility to accommodate different riding styles and terrain demands.
What tire sizes can the Giant Revolt Advanced 2 accommodate?
The adjustable rear dropout allows for tire widths up to 53mm, enabling the bike to handle a broad range of gravel and mixed-surface conditions effectively.
