How often should I care for the KMC X11El Pre-Waxed Chain?
KMC recommends caring for your waxed chain every 250 km or at least once a month for road bikes. For mountain bikes, cyclocross, and frequent riders in all weather conditions, care should be performed after 100 km at the latest to maintain optimal performance.
Do I need to remove the wax before applying new wax?
No, the chain does not require dewaxing before rewaxing. Simply ensure the chain is dry, then apply the wax to the inside of the chain and allow it to dry completely before riding.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
