The Park Tool BBT-135-12 Heavy Duty Steel Bottom Bracket Tool is engineered for precision and durability, making it essential for any professional workshop. Crafted from high-quality 4140 steel, this tool is designed to handle the toughest bottom bracket components with ease. Its 12-notch configuration fits external diameters ranging from 48 to 50 mm, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of threaded bottom bracket tool fittings, including Praxis Works M30 units.
Featuring an extra-deep body, the BBT-135-12 accommodates wide spindles and recessed lockrings, allowing you to work effectively on components that require deeper engagement. The tool offers three versatile engagement methods: a 3/8 inch drive fitting, a 1 inch socket fitting, and 36 mm spanner flats. This flexibility empowers you to tackle even the most stubborn, seized components with confidence and control.
For enhanced stability during use, the tool integrates threads compatible with the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System or GPS-1 Guide Pins (sold separately). This system securely anchors the tool in place, reducing slippage and improving safety during demanding tasks. While the BBT-135-12 is primarily designed for extraction, Park Tool recommends using their non-marking aluminum BB tools for installation to protect your components.
Is this tool compatible with all bottom brackets?
The BBT-135-12 is designed specifically for 12-notch threaded bottom bracket tool fittings with external diameters between 48 and 50 mm. It is compatible with Praxis Works M30 units but not suitable for all bottom bracket styles.
Can I use this tool with an impact driver?
No, this tool is not intended for impact-driver use. Using it with an impact driver could damage the tool or the components.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
