The Praxis BB M30 ROAD BB386 Evo bottom bracket is engineered specifically for Praxis M30 cranks featuring 30/28mm stepped axles. It is essential to note that straight 30mm axles are incompatible with this bottom bracket. Designed to fit a variety of frames including BB30, PF30, BB86, BB92, and Specialized’s OSBB, this press-fit bottom bracket ensures a flawless installation and superior performance.
Featuring a patent-pending design, the cartridge bearings are positioned outboard of the frame, precisely meeting Shimano™ specifications for enhanced rigidity and eliminating tolerance issues common in other systems. Installation is simplified by pressing in the longer non-drive cup followed by threading in the shorter drive cup. The innovative Collet system expands evenly as the drive cup threads in, securing a tight, reliable fit and preventing any bearing misalignment or movement.
Additionally, the compressible o-ring on the non-drive side cup accommodates frame shell width variations, ensuring consistent performance across different setups. Can I use this bottom bracket with a straight 30mm axle crank?
No, this bottom bracket is designed exclusively for Praxis M30 cranks with 30/28mm stepped axles. Straight 30mm axles will not fit.
