The Rapid Racer Products ProGuard Rear Black NEW - Standard Rear is engineered to provide superior protection for your bike’s shock, linkages, and bearings against the relentless assault of mud, dirt, and water thrown up by the back wheel. By effectively shielding these critical components, it significantly reduces the need for post-ride cleaning and extends the time between necessary maintenance sessions, allowing you to spend more time riding and less time servicing.
Introduced in 2023, this ProGuard Rear model expands the range with two length options: the original Mini and the new Standard, which boasts enhanced coverage. The Standard Rear guard extends 83mm further at the rear and adds an extra 140mm length at the front. The front section is crafted from a slightly thinner material, enabling you to trim it for a customized, perfect fit on your specific bike frame.
Crafted from the same durable, thick Polypropylene as the ProGuard FRONT, this guard features a matte textured finish with gloss highlights for a sleek look. Its versatile design allows for easy installation on a wide variety of bikes, with 43 snap-off top holes to accommodate different brace configurations, including straight, raised, and dropped braces with supporting struts. Additional design details such as an indent for extra tyre clearance and side arms compatible with both conventional and offset seatstays ensure a secure and adaptable fit. Zip ties are included for a hassle-free setup.
Will the ProGuard Rear fit my bike?

Can I trim the guard for a better fit?
Yes, the front portion of the ProGuard Rear Standard is made from a thinner material that allows for trimming, so you can customize the guard to perfectly fit your bike’s frame and maximize rear coverage.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
