The Shimano BR-M7120/BL-M7100 SLX 4 pot hydraulic disc brake set is designed for riders seeking powerful and reliable braking performance. The short stroke Servo-Wave mechanism ensures quick pad engagement, delivering more stopping power for aggressive riding styles.
Built with four oversized phenolic pistons, these brakes offer excellent heat insulation while maintaining lightweight strength and stiffness. The use of Ice Tech alloy fin pads enhances heat dissipation, and pairing with Ice Tech rotors (available in 140, 160, 180, and 203 mm) further improves braking efficiency on demanding trails. The forged caliper and alloy brake lever combine durability with reduced weight, making this system a top choice for serious mountain bikers.
Additional features include mineral oil brake fluid that is non-corrosive and safer to handle, a shim-less mounting system for fast setup, and adjustable reach and free stroke on the brake lever. The kit also comes with sintered pads and spare olives and inserts, allowing you to adjust the hose length if needed. With a 1700 mm hose length and I-spec EV compatibility, installation is seamless and adaptable to various bike configurations.
Is this brake set compatible with all mountain bikes?
Compatibility depends on your bike’s mount type and rotor size. This set uses a post mount caliper and offers rotor size options from 140 to 203 mm, so make sure your bike supports these specifications.
Can I adjust the brake lever position?
Yes, the brake lever features both reach and free stroke adjustment to fine-tune your braking feel to personal preference.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
