The Shimano Deore XT RT-CL800 Ice Tech FREEZA rotor with internal lockring, 180 mm, is engineered for riders who demand consistent and reliable braking performance. Utilizing a revolutionary 3-layer sandwich construction of stainless steel and alloy, this rotor effectively manages heat, ensuring energy control during intense rides. The unique Freeza design extends the aluminium core beyond the braking surface as fins, significantly enhancing cooling efficiency and maintaining optimal rotor temperature.
Thanks to its clad steel/alloy/steel structure, the rotor rapidly dissipates heat, reducing surface temperatures by approximately 50°C. When paired with Ice Tech pads, this cooling effect improves further, dropping surface temperatures from around 400°C to 300°C. This thermal management leads to longer pad life, less noise, and reduced brake fade, even in demanding conditions. The Shimano Center Lock system provides a secure, rigid, and lightweight setup, guaranteeing strength and ease of installation.
Designed with precision, the rotor features a finely cut braking surface that excels in muddy conditions by improving pad clearing and heat dissipation under heavy loads. Is this rotor compatible with all Shimano brake calipers?
Yes, the RT-CL800 Ice Tech FREEZA rotor is compatible with most Shimano brake calipers designed for Center Lock rotors, but always verify your specific caliper model.
How does the Ice Tech technology improve braking?
The Ice Tech technology uses a layered stainless steel and alloy construction to dissipate heat quickly, reducing surface temperatures which leads to less brake fade, quieter braking, and longer pad life.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
