The Thomson Elite Seatpost Setback redefines durability and performance in bicycle components. Engineered from a single piece of high-strength 7000 series Aluminium, this seatpost delivers exceptional strength without the added weight of bonded or pressed parts. Weighing approximately 201g for road bike lengths and 228g for mountain bike lengths, it offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio thanks to its natural ellipse bore design.
Designed with riders' safety and comfort in mind, the Elite seatpost features a long 1.614 inch (41mm) seat rail grip length that minimizes bending from impacts. Its innovative bending fuse mechanism prevents catastrophic failure by allowing slight bending under extreme torque, ensuring you can safely complete your ride even after a heavy hit. The seatpost’s clamp and components are built to withstand up to 350 foot-lbs of torque, surpassing industry standards.
With infinite tilt adjustment ranging from -5° to +29°, the Thomson Elite Seatpost Setback provides precise positioning for optimal comfort and control. Its low-profile clamps avoid seat interference by positioning swivel nuts between the seat rails, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Certified to EN 14766 2006 MTB and DIN CERTCO: 2006 MTB standards, this seatpost is rigorously tested to meet the highest quality and safety benchmarks.

In some cases, we may ship items out with another courier, depending on the status and availability of items ordered. (Customers will not be charged more and will be refunded any unused postage cost) If part of an order is cancelled and the total drops below the £50.00 free postage, a postage charge may be taken.
Delivery costs will be clearly stated on the checkout page, though you will need to register (to provide your delivery address) in order to see the delivery costs.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
