What is a gravel bike?
A gravel bike is a multi-terrain bike that can transition from road cycling to gravel terrain without changing tyres. They can also easily manage muddy tracks or forest trails without compromising speed and efficiency on the tarmac. They have dropped handlebars for aerodynamics on the road, but you will sit in a more upright position than on a road bike, giving you more stability on off-road sections. Other key characteristics include wider tyres, lower gears and racks and mounts for bikepacking equipment. Easily link routes for a weekend ride or multi-day gravel ride adventure.
